Come and see us

We are the corner property at Cowichan Lake Road and Skutz Falls Road, the one with all the greenhouses. Your GPS will probably try to take you past us, so watch for the greenhouses and turn in at the gate. No appointment, no gate code. Park in the marked area and come find us in the rows. If nobody is at the shed, holler.

Turn in from Cowichan Lake Road. Park in the marked area, then walk to the shed. The cash bucket is there, with the flower buckets outside.

Trees year round. Produce and flowers in season.

Hours

Open daily, 9 am to 5 pm

Cut flower stand and u-pick run June to the first frost. Back in the spring.

Pre-order pickup Thursday, 3 to 7 pm.

Where are you?
6879 Cowichan Lake Road, Lake Cowichan. The corner at Skutz Falls Road, with the greenhouses. GPS often takes people past the entrance, so watch for the greenhouses and turn in at the gate.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Turn in, park in the marked area and come find someone in the rows. The flower stand is self-serve and open every day.
Can I pick my own?
Yes. Tomatoes are $1 a pound if you pick them. Cut your own flowers at the stand for $1 to $2 a stem. Bring a bucket for canning quantities.
Do you do wedding and funeral flowers?
Yes. Everything is grown and cut here and made up by hand. Custom bouquets start at $10. Weddings and funerals are quoted. Call with the date and the colours.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. We started as a wholesale nursery in 1988 and still supply farm stands, garden centres, landscapers and florists. No account, no minimum. Call for a price list.
What do Japanese maples cost?
15 gallon $125, 20 gallon $150. Cedar and pine are priced by size. Call with the length of your hedge run and we will work it out.
How do I pay?
Tap, chip or cash at the stand, or e-transfer to keithchristie3232@gmail.com. We run Square, so a card works even when nobody is at the till.
